BAMS COURSE

Admission to BAMS (Ayurvedacharya) Course in Nitishwar Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Muzaffarpur(Bihar) will be taken on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination score and the corresponding rank. Therefore, candidate are required to qualify NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidate should fulfill educational and other criteria for NEET examination.

Counseling committee (Govt. of Bihar) will be release merit rank based on NEET merit list and Allotted College after counseling of candidate.

Candidate will bring certificate of Health must be issued by civil Asst.Surgeon/ Ayurvedic/ Unani/ Homeopathic doctor of Govt. Hospital or Teacher of Ayurvedic/Unani/Homeopathic Govt. College. Candidate also submit covid vaccination certificate at the time of admission.

Candidate will also submit all related documents e.g. 10th Certificate, 12th Certificate, Character Certificate issued by School/College Principal, Photocopy of Aadhar Card, Passport size Photographs and other document as require at the time of admission.

ABOUT THE B.A.M.S. DEGREE COURSE

Name of the Course Ayurvedacharya B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
Duration 5½ years (4½ Year Academic + 1 year Compulsory internship)
Medium of Instruction Hindi, Sanskrit, English.
Age Minimum 17 years.
Educational Qualification Applicants must have passed I.Sc. Biology/10+2 Biology from a Recognised Board or University. 50% marks for the all category.
Recognition of Degree i. The degree of Ayurvedacharya B.A.M.S. is recognised by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi.
ii. Students who are awarded degree of B.A.M.S. under Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (Bihar) and have completed their internship in the college Hospital are registered in any states of India as medical practitioners. They are also eligible for M.D./M.S. Ayurved, Post-graduate course in any university.
